Win Practice.  And The Game

Will Rise Up To Meet You.

Work Hard. And Life Will Reward You.

Skills is a registered AAU Youth Basketball Club team and is affiliated with USA Basketball.  Since 2013, the premise of Colorado Skills (operating under Skills Youth Sports, Inc.), is that while competitive youth sports provide an opportunity for boys and girls to grow as individuals, it remains financially out of reach for many qualified and deserving youth.  At the same time, there is not one community in America that would not benefit from our youth giving back instead of just being handed an opportunity.  Therefore, Skills is committed to providing an opportunity for young athletes to develop and play competitive sports while making a commitment to their community.

Our boys and girls teams travel nationally to the same tournaments unless the tournaments are gender specific.  The cost to play for Skills is very reasonable.  90% of all costs associated with the participation on the teams come from contributions made by businesses and individuals who believe in our premise, especially the youth community commitment requirement.   We specifically do not promote a sense of entitlement. Skills Youth will earn the right to play competitive sports at a high level.  We hope you appreciate and wish to join in our vision and our journey.
